What’s Inside Your Beauty Bag? (Product Reviews)
Finding the right beauty products could be a little more tricky. If you continue to browse countless product reviews, I’m sure you’d get tons of tips what to and what not to get for yourself.
Well, it’s one of the things I think I needed to do before getting all those prods I so wanted into my beauty bag. If you would trust TVCs and other advertisements these companies invest million bucks into, make sure you did the right choice.
Too much of the blah blahs. Anyway, here are some of the beauty products I’m digging in for quite some time now. Let’s see if we have items in common inside our kikay kits.

Chapstick Lip Balm
I forgot since when I’ve been using the product. But through the years I’ve been juggling only three of the Chapstick flavors: strawberry, mint, and my all-time favorite cherry. I dig it because it does what is has always been promising – it keeps my lips moisturized and it really prevents chapping of lips. Plus, great flavors too! And absolutely affordable.

Maybelline Clear Smooth Face Powder
This is probably the only face powder I’ve tried so far that is compatible with my skin. I’ve got quite an oily skin and this saves me from oiliness because of its lasting oil control. And it has SPF 18 (a little less than what I need though).

Revlon Colorstay 12-Hour Eyeshadow Quad in Berry Bloom
Why I love this product? It’s easy to blend and you can get such different dazzling looks since it has four shades in it. And it really lasts longer. You don’t need frequent touch-ups.

Revlon Beyond Natural Cream to Powder Eyeshadow in Spice
Don’t worry if you don’t have reliable make-up brushes with you. This eyeshadow from Revlon is applied with your fingertips and since it’s cream, you won’t get a hard time blending the shades. It gives your peepers the right glow without the sticky, smudgy feeling since it transforms into powder later on.

Avon Ultra Color Rich Mousse Lipstick in Frozen Rose
I’m also a fan of Avon lip products. I think it was two or three years back when the Avon Ultra Color Rich Mousse Lipstick came out on the market. What I love about this is the moisture it gives to my kisser and the lovely color that stays on the lips without the cakey feeling.
Ever Bilena Single Blush On in Tan and Avon Soft Mousse Blush in Peach
I’ve tried quite number of blush ons throughout the years. From cream to powder to liquid tint to mousse. I like Avon’s Soft Mousse because it has longer staying power than powder and liquid tint. It gives no sticky coverage unlike the cream blush (it’s mousse, it’s softer). It’s easy to apply and blend. Just dab a small amount with your fingertip and blend it smoothly.
Why I like EB’s blush? It has a sun-kissed effect and very affordable considering the amount each container has (4g). It’s powder though so I have to do some retouches if I’m wearing it for the whole day. It’s also a good pick for evening events because you won’t be needing a bronzer, it provides luminous effect and a gorgeous glow on your whole look.
There you have it! A short peek inside my beauty bag. These are just some of the cosmetics I’m currently using. Just leave a comment here for some questions or make-up tips you want me to discuss. Have a lovely day!
