Plucking VS Shaving Armpit Hair
Hair removal on armpits is part of necessary personal hygiene routine. Besides, it also allows you to appear more attractive and more pleasing. Two of the most common and most practiced methods of hair removal are shaving and plucking.
Having dilemma on choosing between plucking or shaving your armpit hairs? Here’s my tip.
Shaving is the most common method women use to remove armpit hairs. It’s a false belief that shaving darkens underarms and make your hair grow thicker. It just merely cuts the hair off the urderarm skin, leaving the shaft more noticeable. It is advised to apply moisturizers before shaving to avoid rashes, cuts and scrapes. The best time to shave is when you’re taking a bath because the hair is on its soft and pliant state. Hair growth resumes at different intervals for different individuals.
Meanwhile, plucking armpit hair with tweezers is a very effective method to remove hair but can be very time consuming and quite painful (you should be able to bear the pain if your a first timer!lol
). Though, the hair is removed from the roots and takes longer time to grow back compared to shaving.
