Must-Know Tips for Vain Teens

Here’s Audine‘s, one of our model applicants, beauty formula :)

Hi! Here is my beauty tip for sharing. :)

As a fifteen-ager, there are so many beauty products I wish to try and use. I am so curious to find out which products, especially make-up, as advertised in many teen magazines would enhance my girly image. But my mom says that I’m too young to try them all because my skin is still at its tender age and I might get pimples and break out which unfortunately happened to my older sister. That’s why I got so excited when she brought home a pack of beauty products from Human Heart Nature that consists of a natural facial wash, toner, beauty oil, and its Love Minerals Make-up including mineral powder, blush and organic lipstick and lip balm. Human Heart Nature is a local company under Gandang Kalikasan that ties-up with Gawad Kalinga. This is where we get our organic shampoos, conditioners, lotions and body butters. My mom is known for being a stickler in using natural organic products for our family and avoids the chemical-laden ones as much as possible. Fortunately, the Human Heart Nature products are very affordable and really work! ;)

My daily beauty regimen includes washing my face first with a balancing facial wash that contains the prized elemi oil which is known for its healing and anti-bacterial properties. I follow this with a hundred percent natural – no alcohol – balancing facial toner containing the same elemi oil with lactic acid. I wait for this toner be absorbed in my skin for a few minutes as it helps to moisten it. When the weather is a little cold, I apply a drop of sunflower beauty oil to my face and rub it gently to prevent dryness. Sunflower oil is known to lighten skin and fight off wrinkles with regular use. I only apply the mineral face powder for special occasions because I don’t need to look made-up when going to school. But I love putting on a little blush on my cheeks! :)

Because I am wearing braces, my lips tend to get dry therefore I need to moisturize it. My trick is to put a little watermelon-flavored lip balm after brushing my teeth and let it melt in my lips to absorb the moisture. I also do this every time I feel my lips are getting dry during the day. Some girls lick their lips when it’s dry but this is a big no-no according to my mom because licking makes the lips drier. Now, when I need a little hint of color, I use the lipstick that has pale pink undertones that is exactly right for my age and skin tone.

Whenever I use make-up during parties or school activities, I see to it that I remove them with the sunflower cleansing oil that works twice as hard. Only when I’m sure all the make-up has been removed do I clean my face with the same balancing facial wash and toner. And I feel pretty even without the make-up afterwards! :)

Thank you!

Respectfully,

Audine Nitchelle Jade

  1. You’re so pretty!
Yes, sunflower oil is an effective plant-based oil that penetrates the skin to help keep it supple and bright. Avoid using mineral oils and other chemical-based products for your skin especially as a teener. Use natural organic products that are derived from plants. Most chemical-laden beauty products have mineral oils and petroleum based oils that clog pores. Instead of helping you achieve a better looking skin, you are in danger of having acne/pimples or worse, skin cancer.
